Director of Student Ministries
Mayfield First United Methodist Church is seeking an individual with a strong United Methodist/ Wesleyan background who has a passion for the faith formation of children and youth as well as a desire to create a dynamic ministry.
This individual will work with, and coordinate, unpaid servants within our congregation to address the needs of children and youth, both in our congregation and in our community.
This is a full-time position, approximately 35 hours per week, salary commensurate with degree/training and experience. This position does not include benefits, but does allow for voluntary participation in a pension plan.
Responsibilities include the following: Sunday School Superintendent (Preschool – Grade 12); Children’s Church Coordination; Planning Special Family Events; Youth & Children Programming (including mission opportunities); VBS Coordination (2024); participation in staff/team meetings; and other related duties as assigned.
